Apple Tea made a bright and daring debut in Belarusian jazz and from the very beginning has become its visit card, as the most sellable Belarusian export.
The particular feature of the group is the music of its leader Igor Satsevitch, that includes the elements of all modern jazz styles. Earnest of success of the group’s creativity, that made it popular in a couple of years, is the felicitous combination of Igor’s author’s compositions and the musicians’ talents.
Starting from 1994 Apple Tea has been taking part in all significant jazz festivals in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Ukraine.
During the previous 16 years of existence Apple Tea has recorded five solo albums and has taken part in several CD compilations.
Apple Tea musicians are the cocktail of jazz nuggets. The jazzmen are recognized in Belarus and outside. The music they play is available even to those who do not reckon among jazz followers. There must be serious reasons for it not to be liked.
